Tallented is working with an 8 sized MAT in London.

Operating within the intensely competitive London educational landscape, this vibrant eight-school Trust recognizes that its success relies entirely on the quality, motivation, and retention of its teaching and support staff. We are searching for an energetic and strategically minded HR Business Partner. Unlike traditional, reactive HR roles, this position is focused entirely on the developmental lifecycle of the workforce, with specific remits covering staff engagement, dynamic local recruitment, and comprehensive performance management.

Your first major priority will be revolutionizing local recruitment. While the central Trust provides an overarching brand, you understand that each of the eight London academies has its own unique community and context. You will partner deeply with individual Headteachers to design bespoke, highly targeted recruitment campaigns that resonate with the specific talent pools they need to reach. You will move the Trust away from passive advertising, actively utilizing social media, talent pooling, and local university partnerships to attract top-tier early career teachers and experienced leaders alike.

Once brilliant staff are through the door, your focus shifts to staff engagement and performance management. You will design and implement continuous feedback mechanisms and "pulse" surveys to take the temperature of the workforce, using this data to advise the Executive Team on wellbeing initiatives that genuinely improve retention. Furthermore, you will completely overhaul the Trust’s approach to performance management. You will work to transition the academies away from rigid, stressful annual appraisals toward a culture of continuous coaching, clear objective setting, and meaningful professional development. We are looking for a CIPD-qualified, highly engaging HR professional who acts as a true strategic partner to educational leaders, driving a culture of high performance and deep employee satisfaction.

Why don't you post jobs for clients?

Apart from the obvious, (that we're not actively seeking work, but when we do...) we want to be able to provide clients an instant shortlist with people we have already met and qualified. Hence us focusing on building our our database at the moment

What makes you different to other agencies?

We like to think our candidate centric approach sets us apart from the 'big' HR agencies. We see and treat you as people, and get to know you first when interviewing you.

Also Ollie and Del, Hays ain't got them, now do they?!

Plus, we're like super fun and laid back in our comms...

When will you get me a job?

We're focusing on building out our database at the moment, and will start speaking to clients late November/early December - right before Christmas, the infamously best time to start finding work.
