Tallented is working with a 12 sized MAT in London.

In the fiercely competitive talent landscape of the capital, human capital is the ultimate differentiator. We are working with a major 12-school MAT in London to appoint a visionary Chief People Officer (CPO) to join their Executive Board. The Trust recognizes that to provide a world-class education, they must first be a world-class employer. Your expansive portfolio will focus relentlessly on employer branding and recruitment, airtight policy and legal compliance, and the development of innovative wellbeing and retention strategies.

To combat the London recruitment crisis, you will entirely overhaul the Trust’s approach to talent acquisition. You will develop a compelling, highly visible employer brand that articulates the unique value proposition of working for the Trust. This involves modernizing recruitment marketing, leveraging social media, overhauling the candidate journey, and building strategic partnerships with universities and training providers to secure a constant pipeline of top-tier teaching and leadership talent.

Once talent is acquired, your focus shifts to the critical area of wellbeing and retention. You will design and implement a holistic "Staff Promise" that goes far beyond standard occupational health. You will spearhead initiatives to genuinely reduce teacher workload, introduce flexible working practices where viable, and create comprehensive mental health and professional development support structures. Your goal is to make the Trust a place where professionals choose to build their entire careers. Finally, overseeing an HR function that serves 12 distinct sites requires absolute rigor regarding policy and legal compliance. You will ensure that every HR practice, from right-to-work checks to complex dismissals, is flawlessly executed, legally robust, and ethically sound, protecting the Trust’s reputation and financial stability at all times.

FAQ

Why should I apply?

Sure, there are probably better ways to spend 30 minutes, after all, that latest Netflix drama about teenage vampires isn't going to binge itself, but 30 minutes with us could get you a job in the future. Season 4 Episode 21 of Vampire Heights High probably wont...

Why don't you post jobs for clients?

Apart from the obvious, (that we're not actively seeking work, but when we do...) we want to be able to provide clients an instant shortlist with people we have already met and qualified. Hence us focusing on building our our database at the moment

What makes you different to other agencies?

We like to think our candidate centric approach sets us apart from the 'big' HR agencies. We see and treat you as people, and get to know you first when interviewing you.

Also Ollie and Del, Hays ain't got them, now do they?!

Plus, we're like super fun and laid back in our comms...

When will you get me a job?

We're focusing on building out our database at the moment, and will start speaking to clients late November/early December - right before Christmas, the infamously best time to start finding work.

Can I have your dog?

No.
